Originally born "Ryoyun Lee Sung" in South Korea, Candice was adopted byh wealthy parents and grew up in Bellevue, Washington. With her adoptive mother being from Columbia, Candice grew up speaking fluent Spanish. She learned to speak some Korean through different after school and summer camp programs. In High school she had a passion for music and fine art and was active in her school choir, band, drama and art clubs. Very intelligent, she graduated with a 4.0 GPA. After high school she briefly worked as a barista. She received a fake ID form her friends for her birthday and they were out to party. They stumbled upon an amateur night at a strip club where Cadice decided to perform. AFte rmaking over $80 in tips, she realized she could make money faster by using her body instead of just sitting in class waiting to earn a degree. She quit her barista job and took up work at a topless coffee bar while she attended college. She submitted an audition online posted by a company called SKM Entertainment, and was chosen and moved to Los Angeles, California to join a short lived American-Korean K-Pop girl group called "M'Kanei", where she went by the name "Yun". She was pressured into signing a contract written entirely in Korean which she couldn't read. During the group, she was introduced to a secret sex industry where music artists are sometimes prostituted out to wealthy clients. SKM had had trouble with a Korean girl group in the past who were stopped at US Customs & Immigration and not allowed into the United States due to suspicions of prostitution. So SKM decided to create a new K-pop group, but with all American Citizens. Yun refused the sexual advances of a record exec. The group failed to take off and Yun was blamed for the band's demise. After the group split up, "Yun" was left with over $86k in trainee debt to pay off, per the contract she signed, which her wealthy parents refused to help her pay. She moved back to LA and took up work as a film extra and as a scenic artist in Hollywood.

During the global pandemic, all scenic work was shut down in California, so Scenic artists needed to look for work in other states. Candice got hired on a gig working as a scenic artist on a remodel of Slutopia Ranch, Candice meets Madam Eden Slutz who explains to her about the workings of the brothel business. Eden also tells her that many girls become courtesans to pay off high debts. Realizing the lucrativeness of the industry, she also decided to try her luck. She applied to work at the Slutopia Ranch where she was given the name "Janelle". Upon hearing Janelle's stories about prostitution in the music industry, Madam Eden got the idea to form her unique girl group. With her music industry experience, Janelle was asked to join the group.

Janelle identifies as pansexual and is willing to service clients of any gender. Although she is of Korean decent, Janelle is willing to portray any flavor of Asian which a client wishes, even putting on an accent to fulfill their fantasies.
