Ashley was was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was raised by her single mother, who was originally from Shreveport, Louisiana. Fearing for her baby's safety, Ashley's mother left Louisiana to get away from her abusive boyfriend (Ashley's father), to live in Las Vegas with her sister (Ashely's aunt). After graduating high school, Ashely enlisted in the US Army for 6 years, in hopes of one day owning a home. Ashley was the front desk manager at the Troposphere Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. She broke up with her boyfriend at the time, after having an abortion. Her career and aspirations didn't leave her much time to start a family. After the break up, she realized that her work life as interfering with her family and social life, and wasn't fulfilling. She needed to do something more meaningful with her life. Her mother was also once a legal courtesan working at a Nevada brothel. With her mother's approval, she decided to try legal sex work herself. She applied and was hired at Hussie Heaven, her mother's former work place, where she went by the name "Krystal".
